CONCEPT ART | SEQUENCE DESIGN | LOOK DEVELOPMENT
OVERVIEW
Visual development for Sleep Number x Dak Prescott in collaboration with Carbon VFX, expanding on an existing campaign through a more defined data-driven visual language. The work focuses on elevating the role of data design and holographic elements while maintaining continuity with the established identity.
Development centers on translating biometric data into a cohesive visual system, operating across multiple scales and applications—from close-up interface detail to full-body holographic representations.
MACRO DATA DESIGN
Development begins with data visualization at a macro scale, examining how interface elements behave in close proximity. Sleep data is translated into structured graphic forms, allowing the system to be defined through detail before expanding outward.
These studies establish the underlying language—shape, motion, and density—which informs how data operates across larger compositions.
HOLOGRAM DESIGN
The system extends into full-scale holographic representations of athletes, applying macro-level logic to volumetric forms. Data is integrated into the figure, describing performance as a direct extension of biometric input.
The approach establishes a unified space where live-action footage and holographic systems coexist, maintaining visual continuity across physical and digital elements.
Sleep Number Mattress
The final phase applies the established system to the product itself. Data-driven graphics resolve into the mattress, connecting abstract visualization back to a physical object.
This transition reinforces the relationship between data, performance, and product, completing the visual system across all scales.
