ART DIRECTION | CONCEPT DESIGN | LOOK DEVELOPMENT
Concept art developed for Zero Days VR, an immersive experience based on the documentary directed by Alex Gibney. The work translates the subject of cyber warfare into a spatial narrative, placing the viewer within the abstract environment of a computer virus.
The experience frames events from the perspective of Stuxnet, requiring the construction of digital worlds capable of supporting documentary material within a three-dimensional space. Concept development focused on establishing environments, defining a visual language for computational systems, and creating a character presence for the malware itself.
Design Process
Early visual exploration drew from glitch and signal distortion, extending two-dimensional artifacts such as pixel stretching into volumetric forms. These studies informed the development of spatial transitions and the broader visual system, allowing the work to move between documentary content and constructed environments in a cohesive way.
